I really enjoy your blog and was thrilled to see you read and reviewed an Agatha Christie mystery. I simply adore her books, especially those featuring Monsieur Poirot. I consider them comfort food for the soul and my personal philosophy is that you can never own too many Christies :) Thank you for following me and I look forward to reading your future reviews!Mary Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10180162203903660736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1369220753819544809.post-66651245613699948132012-01-01T22:59:48.360-06:002012-01-01T22:59:48.360-06:00Brooks, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed them too...Brooks, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed them too! Maybe it's time for a re-read - The 2012 Redwall Reading Challenge, haha :)

Fall Into Books, Thank you! And thank you again. I finally feel like my blog looks "me-ish", lol. Though ironically I'm not usually a big fan of pink. Hmm.

Jonathan, it would appear Redwall made a distinct, positive impression on our generation. And I am so glad because I completely agree that Jacques is a magnificent author. I know the comparison is a little cliche at this point, but they really do feel like an anthropomorphic version of LOTR, not that they are a copy cat by any means. They're just that great :)

Silvy, yes, I'm sure your son would love Redwall! And one of the great things about this series is that they can be read again and again, so you could read them aloud to him or listen to the audiobook together now, and then he could read them by himself in a few years.

Happy New Year to you all! Nothing like a fresh year and a fresh list of books to read :)Mary Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10180162203903660736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1369220753819544809.post-84596022695295323152011-12-31T06:58:16.913-06:002011-12-31T06:58:16.913-06:00Just for my son,his 4 years old.
