Oh rain, how I love thee & A few rain-washed favorites

I love the rain. And storms. There's nothing better than opening the curtains up as wide as you can, sitting back with a cup of hot cider and a good book, and letting your mind float away with the echoing thunder. Ahh, heaven.

Maybe I'm unusual, or even distantly related to Eeyore, but intensely bright sunny days tend to depress me, and rainy days perk me up. I love the crispness of the air, the way the grass is given new life, and how it usually gives me an excuse to throw on a comfy jacket and scarf.

In honor of this oh-so-frabjous day, I would like to present to you some fabulous rain and storm inspired pieces I discovered on Etsy that will let you keep a little black rain cloud around all the time... but first, a highly appropriate musical number :)
