A Sunshiny Day

Salutations! Today was lovely. We opened up all of the windows and my son ran around the yard like a wild man. Then he brought me some flowers :) It really is the little things that make a day wonderful, you know?

I just listed a couple more little items in my shop and now I'm watching Lover Come Back, an old Doris Day/Rock Hudson movie. Ahh, just the right amount of cheesiness. I really want to watch That Touch of Mink soon (I looove Cary Grant) and Daddy Long Legs (I also have a soft spot in my heart for Fred Astaire). Who are some of your favorite old movie stars?

 <<<The bea-yoo-tiful flowers Gabriel
        picked for me earlier :)

And now for a couple sunny favorites:

Daisy Poms from PartyPoms

Bright Sunshiny Day from farouche

Sunshine Yellow Owl and Flower Hairpins
from WhitePicketFences

"Good Day, Sunshine" baby quilt

  4. Oh my goodness, these are all so lovely! It's a few minutes after midnight, I'm checking emails and blogs before bedtime, and somehow I'm feeling sunshine!

I love Cary Grant, and Fred Astaire too! I must confess, my first love/huge crush as a child was James Cagney. I was about seven and I bawled when I found out he had already grown old and passed away! Old Hollywood remains marvelous.
